Professional development
Dr Blicharczyk's published profile describes ongoing training in ultrasound assessment of fetal abnormalities, Doppler diagnostics, and prevention and early detection of cervical cancer. It also lists certificates concerning aesthetic gynaecological procedures and participation in international congresses and scientific symposia, including events associated with NVOG and Polish professional societies. Qualifications do not by themselves confirm that every procedure is currently offered.
Areas of consultation
- Gynaecological history, examination and ultrasound where indicated.
- Cytology and HPV, prevention and follow-up based on results.
- Contraception choices and IUD insertion.
- Heavy or irregular bleeding and painful periods.
- Menopause assessment and care planning.
- Initial assessment of urinary incontinence and prolapse.
Prevention and symptoms
Preventive examination without symptoms differs from a consultation for a medical indication. Symptoms and abnormal results guide the assessment. Not every consultation is a preventive medical examination (PMO).
Payment and preparation
Stichting Med Partners is a non-contracted provider. You pay the practice directly. Reimbursement depends on the service, policy, any referral and insurer conditions; no percentage or amount is guaranteed. Bring identification, an up-to-date medication overview (AMO), previous results and relevant records. With your consent, a summary can be shared with your huisarts. Fees and additional laboratory or material costs are listed centrally.
How a follow-up consultation may proceed
- History: cycle, symptoms, conditions, medication, pregnancies and previous results.
- Examination: external and internal examination with a speculum, and sampling if needed.
- Ultrasound, often vaginal, to assess the uterus and ovaries where indicated.
- Explanation of findings and further investigations or treatment.
Common patient-information topics
Cytology and HPV
Public screening is free; requested testing outside the programme is charged according to the fee list.
Contraception and IUD
Choices depend on preferences and health, including pregnancy plans, conditions and medication. A hormonal IUD may also reduce heavy bleeding. Spotting can occur after insertion; seek advice for increasing pain or fever.
Heavy or irregular bleeding
Possible causes include hormonal changes, fibroids, polyps or endometriosis. Assessment may include history, examination and ultrasound. Record bleeding, pain, medication and contraception. Very heavy bleeding with weakness or dizziness needs urgent advice.
Pelvic pain and possible endometriosis
Persistent pain, painful periods, pain during sex or fertility problems may need assessment. Bring a pain and cycle diary covering two to three months and a medication list. Treatment may include symptom relief, hormonal treatment or further investigation.
Discharge, itching and burning
Symptoms may reflect fungal infection, bacterial vaginosis or irritation. Recurrent symptoms may need assessment and sometimes culture. Note duration, colour, smell, medication and recent antibiotics.
Vulval and sexual symptoms
Persistent itching, burning, cracks, painful sex or unusual skin changes require assessment. Note creams, cosmetics and intimate washing products.
Menopause
Hot flushes, sleep problems, mood changes, dryness and urinary symptoms can be discussed. Options include information, lifestyle, symptom treatment and hormonal treatment after individual risk assessment.
Incontinence and prolapse
History and examination guide next steps, which may include pelvic-floor physiotherapy and further tests. Bring a two- to three-day bladder diary noting fluids and leakage.
