Consent to examination and treatment
You receive information about the purpose, procedure, risks, alternatives and possible consequences before deciding. Consent can be given verbally or by clear conduct; higher-risk procedures may require written consent. You can ask questions, request alternatives or decline a proposed procedure, subject to applicable emergency-care rules.
During your consultation
The doctor takes your history and performs appropriate examination. You should receive understandable information about the preliminary assessment or diagnosis, investigation and treatment plan, and recommendations.
After your consultation
You receive a summary of advice and, where relevant, follow-up plans. The practice uses Zivver for confidential email. Contact patient services about administration or privacy: +31 628 741 004.
Your rights
Information and choice
You have a right to clear information about your health, diagnosis, proposed treatment, risks, alternatives and possible side effects. Examination and treatment require informed consent.

Privacy

Complaints
If you are dissatisfied, you can discuss the matter with the practice and also use the formal complaints procedure under the Wkkgz.
Second opinion
You may ask for a second opinion about important treatment decisions or uncertainty about a diagnosis. Reimbursement depends on your insurer and policy.
